Google recently had a deal with a Taiwenese company- Foxconn, where Google bought virtual imaging patents that it will use in its most recent product – “Google Glass”.

The patent holds a technology that can be used to superimpose virtual images over the real ones. The amount of transaction details about the patent deal was not
released.

Facebook, twitter and few other news companies have already developed some applications for the “Google Glass”, an eye-wear device, but these are available only for
the developers yet. The customers can use the device for various purposes like shopping, checking weather reports, sharing real-time videos or playing reality
augmented games.
